Team Bonding

There is a little bar down on 12th street called Canon. Emphasis on the word little. Most nights you have to arrive before 6pm or prepare for a minimum of an hour wait. However, it has some of the best cocktails I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. Me and a few of my coworkers ended up at this bar after work, and, after much of my badgering, we ordered the Fishhouse Punch Deluxe.

The Fishhouse Punch Deluxe is a magical blend of four different types of alcohol and a lot of lemons and limes. The drink itself was slightly disappointing, a bit to heavy on the citrus, but the presentation was beautiful.

The punch comes in a crystal bowl with a long, ornate silver ladle and each person partaking in the punch receives an intricately carved glass teacup.

 All the sour punch.

All the sour punch.

The punchbowl requires a minimum of 4 participants. Before ordering the punch, I believed that rule to be a little ridiculous. After ordering the punch, I was surprised the minimum wasn't 6 people. The crystal punch bowl it comes in is enormous. Definitely worth the price.

I really enjoy these little after work activities. I find it's important (and fun) to get to know coworkers outside of the office. People that know each other well can work together well.

 The lovely Katrina.
